Theft & Malicious Damage

Theft & Malicious Damage

It’s a well known fact that the task of getting a theft claim settled by an insurance company is not easy. It is definitely more problematic than the rest, especially when it is a commercial property. The claim is often much larger and insurers can deal with the claim with an air of suspicion.

There are long lists of requirements to comply with with before the claim is regarded as legitimate. You’ll need a report from the Gardai etc. Calling the Gardai in a panic is probably not the best option because you won’t have assessed the full extent of the damage, the report they will do will be inaccurate and it’s very difficult to change the report further down the line, because again it will be viewed with suspicion.

AIA Loss Assessors are experts at dealing with these types of claims, we can prepare detailed, methodical reports so that they cannot be disputed.

Theft and malicious damage is unfortunately, on the increase in Ireland. We can guide you through the maze of insurance requirements and quickly assess which policy exclusions and restrictions. Policy wording is often left open to interpretation, so it takes an experienced insurance professional to figure out the best approach to presenting your claim in order to receive your maximum pay out entitlement.

At AIA Loss Assessors we do not charge a fee for our initial consultation/site visit, we agree a fee with our Clients prior to appointment and on a “No Foal, No Fee” basis.

AIA Loss Assessors Limited is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
